Snow Flakes,Binoculars and Giraffes

Today in Spanish Alicia reviewed the African Savanna Animal vocabulary with the class, then she introduced clothing vocabulary while showing pictures.
Next Friends played a game called "Camina,Camina" (walk, walk) , this time using transportation vocabulary. She would tell Friends to Camina,Camina around the room, then she would tell them to Para (Stop) and name a vehicle in Spanish, like "bicicleta" (bike). Friends had to mimic the movement of a bike. Same with the rest of the transportation vocabulary.
During Morning Meeting we read a book about giraffes "Watching Giraffes in Africa" we learned giraffes are the tallest animals on Earth, their favorite leaves are from the Acacia tree, the horn-like bumps on their heads  are called ossicones and much more!
Since Winter season is here and Sparrows love snow, we decided to create snowflakes using popsicle sticks. Friends decorated them with tempera and glitter. Friends also worked on the Safari binoculars which need to be ready for our next adventure!

Ask your Sparrow what is the color of a giraffe's tong and how giraffes drink water!
