Camina..walk.Para! Stop!

In Spanish class, Sparrows continued practicing the Animal Savana vocabulary.
Friends played two games today: the swatter game, in which Alicia calls out a Spanish word and two friends have to identify by looking at pictures what is the Spanish word is.
The Second game's name is "Camina, camina.. para (walk, walk..stop)!" Friends walk all over the classroom while listening to Alicia saying, "Camina, camina.." and when Alicia says, "Para!" everybody stops. Then Alicia names one of the animals that they are studying and the children have to walk imitating such animal.

After Morning Meeting we continued painting the numbers for our classroom number line.
Friends were also stamping leaves to add to the Acacia tree on our "Sparrows on Safari" board.
When we came back from outdoor play we read part of a book about Rhinoceros (African Rhinos by Kristin L.Nelson). Tomorrow we will continue to read it.
Ask your Sparrow how tall can be a rhino's horn?
