Today in Spanish class the Sparrows started to learn vocabulary under the category of food. Alicia read a Spanish/English book about a family having dinner. The book named food words like: frijoles (beans), arroz (rice) and many more. Alicia then showed the Sparrows flashcards with the pictures of our daily snacks. Friends repeated the Spanish words with enthusiasm.
During Morning Meeting, the Sparrows reviewed the shapes and talked about the similarities and differences between them. Then, each friend had the opportunity to look around the classroom and find a particular shape. Make sure to check out our SHAPES sheet hanging up in the room to see what the Sparrows found!
Today was Lincoln's turn to present his family collage. The Sparrows asked questions and made comments on it. Lincoln proudly answered all of them!
