Today in assembly we traveled from Central America to South America with Alicia and the 4th grade friends. The country that they studied last week was Colombia, today they gave us some clues for us to guess the next country. We will have the answer next assembly.
Soon after, Friends from the Upper School surprised us with two beautiful songs from their play"Charlie Brown". Sparrows really enjoyed to see all these talented big kids dancing and singing!
After morning meeting friends reviewed the ABC's playing bingo letters, manipulating magnetic letters on a board and completing puzzle words with wooden letters.
We started painting pieces of paper using brown tempera color to build up an Acacia tree and Baobab Tree for our On Safari board.
Today during read aloud Sparrows learned about zebras.
Ask your Sparrow Why baby zebras have brown stripes instead black like the adults? How is the daddy zebra called?
