Painting djembe, baking Chapati, and weekend news

                                                     Weekend News April 15, 2019

Dylan – Yesterday I went to Grandmom and Grandpop’s house. We dyed Easter Eggs. When it was time to go home, grandpop gave me a helicopter to take home
that was his.

Vivian – I went to Natey’s birthday party in a bouncy place with a lot of bouncy things. First I was scared than I wasn’t scared and then I had fun.

Thea – I went to Natey’s birthday. I went on the very high slide. I went to the beach on Saturday.

Zev – I went to Natey’s birthday party. We went to a bouncy playground then another bouncy playground. “We went to a bouncy room and then another bouncy room and then a pizza and cupcake room.” Didi and Poppy came to my house.  When it was nighttime we thought there might be a tornado so we slept downstairs and there was no tornado.

Jessica – We went to Natey’s birthday party. AJ got to come to. We went up the tall one but we got scared so we came back down. We went down the big slide.  Then, we found balloons that we could take home, I picked red.  I “standed” at the bottom of the blue thing and it crashed down on me.

Millie – I played with “myself and Ethan”. I went to Natey’s birthday yesterday. I played with Natey.

Jaylen – I went to Natey’s birthday party. We bounced. I played with my sisters outside on the swing set. Kaya had a softball game. Sadie had a soccer game.

Asha – So on the weekend, we went to a festival. I dyed eggs for Easter. I played with Savie in the meetinghouse. I also went to Grandma and Grandpa’s house and ate lunch there.

Lincoln – We went to the toy store and got a Lego for me and Toby with Dad. Toby was at his friend’s house. We also went home and had dinner.

Natey – I went to “Bounce U” for my birthday party. I got so many presents. I had pizza.

Friends have started painting their djembe.

Some friends did their April self-portrait. Then we played a game of letter bingo to practice letter recognition and listening skills.

For snack, today everyone helped make Chapati bread which is from Africa. The ingredients were flour, salt, olive oil, and hot water.
