Sparrows 2018-19: GAME DAY!

Weekend News

Henry- I went to Zev's house and I played with Zev's friend Thomas. They had a old school rocket. When you shot it, it sprays water and when it was my turn, it sprayed water just on my shirt. I went to the playground with Zev. I went back to Zev's house. I let Zev borrow one of my toys and I borrowed one of Zev's toys. I went to Target again. I broke a Squirmle. I rode a pony and I saw llama and I also saw a goat. I got water ice, lemon, but it was white.

Vivian- I wanted to go to my grandma's pool but I did not do it because I wanted to go to strawberry picking and I went to the bouncey house and I went back to my grandma's house for nap time and my mom and Matilda had to leave but I stayed and we got to go in the pool and we also got to make an art project.

Lincoln- First when I wake up in the morning, I had breakfast and then it was board game day. Then I went into school and I wash my hands and sign-in and do the question of the day. Then I did choice time and now I'm playing at magnatiles. After choice then we going to have morning meeting.

Asha- So I went to get ice cream and we also went to somebody's birthday party and we got cupcakes and lollipops. I also played with Savi in our family room that we have. I'm pretending that we are having a pretend tea party every day and every night and we have cupcakes.

Natey- I went to grandma's house with Thomas. I sleep there for two days. I watch movies with g-mom. I went swimming everyday.

Gracie- Me and my dad were going to a playground and it was Allen's Lane. My daddy was on his bike and I was on my scooter. Then when we were crossing a road, I fell and got hurt and I tripped when I was pushing me on my scooter. Daddy helped me turn around. When I fell down it was bleeding.

Zev- Me and Henry and Julie and my mom went to the Allen's Lane Playground. We played there and also then we were going home a thunderstorm came and then Henry didn't want to leave.

Thea- We played outside and I went to a restaurant and I also played with grano and papa Pete and that's it.

Jaylen- I play with my dad, trucks. Me and my dad went to a playground. We played pirates.

Jessica- We went to dinner and Amy came over. At dinner, we got chips and salsa. We played Wake Up Daddy and I Spy.

Dylan- Yesterday, we went to gigi and papa's house. Then we went to Aunt Fran's house. When I went to gigi and papa's hosue, we played in the pool. Then I went to my house.

Millie- There was a waterslide and the new beach. It was so hot. My feet cooled down. We feed the kitties some food.

Today in the Sparrows classroom was GAME DAY! Friends brought in boardgames from home to share and play with friends. We took out three to four games at a time for friends to play and rotate throughout. When a friend's game was brought out, that friend explained to the group how to play the game. Friends did an excellent job presenting and explaining to their friends how to play. All of the Sparrows were excellent first-time listeners, and exhibited respect, teamwork, turn-taking and sharing, and resilience and flexibility.

Well done, Sparrows! We are super proud of all of your growth and the love and appreciation you have for one another!
